In a sad scenario, grandparents in the Houston area sought counsel after their daughter got a DWI with their grandchild in the car. Concerned that their daughter would eventually face incarceration, the family decided to seek legal rights to the child so that the child would not be without a legal guardian. We filed a lawsuit that gave co-parenting rights and duties to the grandparents and have assisted them in asserting their rights to make decisions on behalf of their grandchild.
